Founded in Oslo in 1990, Bernt Heiberg and William Cummings established their first office where love and implementation of neoclassical Scandinavian design quickly gained the attention of the US market. Their fresh, functional and eclectic design was especially embraced by the Hamptons community, where an extensive portfolio of projects reside in complement to their multitude of work in cities around the world.
Each project is approached based on the principle of upholding the integrity of a building’s original composition and working with the client to uniquely design their ideal space. This ethos and diverse set of capabilities is further advanced by Lead Designers and Partners Katie White and Else Ramm's contributions to the team. Heiberg Cummings has garnered accolades such as Andrew Martin’s listing of the World’s Top Interior Designers and included in Europe’s Elite 1000 for luxury services.
Featured numerous times in publications such as Architectural Digest, Luxe Interiors, Hamptons Home and Garden, The Wall Street Journal and more, Heiberg Cummings’s journey and family of projects is best highlighted in their book titled 'White Light'.
